Not really sure what to make of this.  Pay specific attention to No. 9.

Can't say I have any disagreement wit this. It is the same thing we used to encounter with screw machine operators or second operation chuckers. Push buttons or pull handles... all the same... boring as hell.

You may know someone who hates their job.

But have you ever wondered what the most hated jobs in America are?

That's what you wanted to know in today's Facebook story of the day.

According to a survey on yahoo.com, the number one most hated job is director of information technology.

We asked the director of I.T. for the city of Albany, John Antoniewicz why he thinks it was voted number one.

I know it's a challenging position and because of technology, people have this interpretation that technology is quick, so service should be quick too. I guess that has something to do with it, says Albany I.T. Director John Antoniewicz.

Other hated jobs include director of sales and marketing, product manager, senior web developer and tech specialist. Cegonsoft

I'm sure you do, G. I'm sure the whizz and humm and the coolant drenched hot metal steam and the speed of everything and the incredible spirit of the machinery permeates you.. you smell it and hear it and taste it many hours after you go home... even into the hours of sleep. You simply cant beat that feeling of making things. Its nirvana to many of us. I'll never forget it. Ever.

Pretty surprise with the list.
I guess managerial ranks are really stressful that makes one person dissatisfied with the job despite of the high pay. Now, I wonder why a lot of people wants to be the president when it is a very stressful job.

I really do not agree with some of the posted jobs but mostly I agree with other items. I really agree with the list since managerial level is very different and risky. Director level are the most busiest I believe but the pay is always great.

This reminds me of a draftsman job I interviewed for. It was a salaried position and the manger asked me how I felt about working long hours and I said, "for an hourly wage, it would be fine". I was not called back. I don't know why some bosses think life is like some John Grisholm novel where the lawyers sleep in their offices when they get four hours free of their work. But even then they get to bill $800 per hour, so...

Management is like that... too many hours... too much stress. Nothing but some kind of existential reward or something..

I'm surprised with the results of the survey.. If you'll see it, this are some of the highest paid jobs we have in the market then they're part of the most hated jobs. Well, if you don't love what you're doing, then just look for a new job that will give you happiness.
