short bed
I do my camping alone and have no need for the full bed. I also have no need for the four seating dining table since I use the side table exclusively. The big thing I have against the full bed and leaving it down permanently is having to crawl to get to the back cabinets. Also a problem is getting in and out of it. You kinda need to crawl into bed and then to get out of it you have roll yourself into the fetal position, grab your knees, twist your whole body on your fanny, and then put your feet on the floor.
This mod fixed all of that and made the egg look and feel bigger.
I can stand on the floor now and get to everything in the back cabinets.
It is easy to get in and out of bed.
It looks much bigger inside too.
This view shows the half bed I have to sleep on. Those cushions in the back will fit over a board right in the front if I ever want to make a full bed.
